Households, invitations and headcounts stay distinct.

Keep households and people distinct

Store a family or guest household, its contact information and reserved places, then manage the individual names within it. A household response and a headcount are different things: five families may represent many more than five guests.

Find the records you need

Search and filter the guest list to review names and RSVP status. Wedding guest-side labels help distinguish bride, groom and shared guests. Importing is available in the workspace; review the supported import format before uploading a list.

Use the same names for seating and the event day

Attending guests feed into the seating workflow, while event-day tools support checking people in. Review additions and late changes before publishing the seating plan. Keeping these steps tied to the guest list reduces repeated typing.

How to use it

  1. Create households and add guest names.
  2. Review the import or entries for duplicates and reserved places.
  3. Use replies to finalise the attending list and tables.

Worked example

Invitations are not headcounts

In an illustrative list, three households reserve two, four and three places. That is three invitations and nine possible guests. If seven people accept, catering and seating should use seven rather than three or nine.

Common questions

Can I separate bride and groom guests?

Wedding guest records support guest-side labels, including shared guests.

Does marking someone invited mean they accepted?

No. Invitation sharing status and RSVP status are separate. A manually shared invitation can be marked invited while its response remains awaiting.
