Terms of Use
These terms apply to people and businesses using DEVENT to plan, attend or provide services for an event.

The platform
DEVENT is operated by Dprime Solutions Pty Ltd in Australia. It provides planning, invitation, RSVP, venue, supplier and business-workspace tools. The platform is not a party to contracts between an organiser and a venue, supplier or guest unless expressly stated.
Accounts and access
You must provide accurate information, protect your access, and use only event or business information you are authorised to manage. Account owners are responsible for collaborator permissions. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse or comply with law.
Bookings, enquiries and marketplace listings
An enquiry, shortlist entry or quote request is not a confirmed booking. Organisers and businesses must verify prices, availability, inclusions, safety requirements, licences, cancellation terms and the final contract directly. Venue floor plans and capacity tools assist planning but are not a legal, fire-safety or accessibility approval.
Guest information and uploads
Organisers must collect and use guest information lawfully and only for appropriate event purposes. You keep ownership of content you upload and grant DEVENT permission to host, process and display it as needed to provide the service. You must not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing or malicious content.
Plans, discounts and payments
Prices, plan inclusions, payment amounts, renewal periods and any One Event use-by date are shown before purchase. PayPal may process eligible payments. Review the final checkout details before you pay.
DEVENT may offer an optional public percentage discount on a plan. When offered, the reduced price is displayed against the regular price and applies to new purchases or new subscriptions made under that offer. A public sale may have an end date. It runs through that date in Sydney time; new checkouts return to the regular price afterward. A checkout already created keeps its quoted price, and existing subscriptions keep their agreed renewal price. An eligible promotional code may provide a further reduction as shown at checkout, subject to its eligibility and offer terms.
New prices, public discounts and promotional offers do not automatically reprice an existing subscription. Existing purchases and promotions remain on the terms under which they were purchased, including their agreed price and any disclosed use-by date, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Venue promotion affects placement or visibility but does not guarantee enquiries, bookings or revenue.
Monthly subscriptions
A monthly subscription renews each calendar month at the recurring price agreed at signup until it is cancelled under the applicable cancellation terms. If a public plan discount applies when you sign up, that discounted recurring price applies each calendar month.
An eligible venue promo code may reduce the monthly amount further for the first 1, 6 or 12 monthly payments, or permanently for the life of that subscription until it is cancelled. A limited discount ends after its agreed number of monthly payments; later payments use the recurring rate agreed at signup, including any public plan discount. The discounted monthly amount, discount duration and any later monthly amount are disclosed before you agree to the subscription. A code's expiry stops new redemptions and does not shorten an existing subscription's agreed discount. Editing or deleting a code does not change existing subscription terms.
One Event passes and use-by dates
A One Event purchase provides a pass to activate one event. The activation period is shown before payment, in calendar months from purchase (for example, 12 months means one year). The exact use-by date is calculated from the purchase date and recorded with the pass. The pass remains valid through that date in Sydney time; short months use their final day. Existing purchased passes keep their recorded deadlines. You must use the pass to activate an event before that deadline; an unused pass that reaches its use-by date expires.
The deadline applies to using an unused pass. Once the pass has been used, the activated event follows the normal event editing, archiving and retention rules disclosed in the workspace. The unused-pass deadline does not shut down an event that has already been activated.
We schedule an automated reminder two calendar months before an unused pass’s use-by date. For purchases made within that reminder window, or catch-up reminders, we send a reminder as soon as practicable. Keep your account email address current and check your pass’s deadline. Email delivery cannot be guaranteed, and a reminder does not extend the disclosed deadline.
Refunds and cancellations
We do not offer refunds for a change of mind, for choosing not to use a purchased service or pass, or for an unused pass that expires at its disclosed use-by date. Subscription cancellation stops future renewal and current paid access continues until the paid period ends. Cancellation does not by itself entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid.
This refund policy is subject to the Australian Consumer Law and any other rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. It does not limit a right to a refund or other remedy where the law requires one. If you believe a payment or service issue gives you such a right, contact support.
Planning assistance and automatic seating
The optional planning assistant is available to eligible paid customers or customers granted access by DEVENT, subject to the limits and controls shown in the service. AI suggestions and quote summaries may contain mistakes. Review source documents, supplier availability, prices and proposed changes before acting. DEVENT does not book a supplier or make a payment through the assistant without a separately approved process.
Supplier enquiries are sent on your behalf only when you approve the recipients and message. Sending acceptance does not guarantee delivery or a supplier response. Automatic seating provides a proposal based on your entered rules, room capacities and guest information. Review the proposal before applying it; organisers remain responsible for the final arrangement, including accessibility and venue requirements.
Gifts and external services
The platform may link to external registries or contribution providers. DEVENT does not hold or transfer guest gift funds unless a specifically approved payment service is introduced and separately disclosed. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available and secure, but maintenance, provider outages and events outside reasonable control may interrupt it. Features may change as the product develops. We will take reasonable steps to avoid materially reducing a paid service during its current paid term without notice or an appropriate remedy.
Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes guarantees, remedies or rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, each party is responsible for loss caused by its own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct, and indirect or consequential loss is excluded where it is fair and lawful to do so.
Ending use
You may stop using the platform or submit an account deletion request through Account & privacy or the public account deletion page. Some records may be retained for active events, subscriptions, disputes, fraud prevention or legal and financial obligations. We may end or restrict access for serious or repeated breaches after reasonable notice where practicable.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to any mandatory rights that apply elsewhere. Contact DEVENT through the public support form or the Account & privacy page with questions or disputes.
